The full TechEd conference registration fee for delegates includes access to technical sessions and other content plus lunch each day of the event (Tuesday - Friday).
Pre-Conference Seminars take place on Monday, 24 June, 2013 from 09:00 to 17:00. Each full-day seminar offers in-depth study on a particular topic, which has been specifically developed for the TechEd audience to address the most relevant needs of today's technology experts. The Pre-Conference Seminar Only fee includes a full day of dedicated class time with a noted industry expert, lunch, and materials (if applicable). The TechExpo Only Pass registration fee includes access to the TechExpo floor Tuesday, 25 June – Friday 28 June during open hours, name badge, lanyard and reception food served in the TechExpo area. Enter code TEEX13 to purchase a TechExpo Only Pass.

The Academic Discount is available only to academic students, faculty, and staff. Eligibility requires a copy of your academic ID and a current transcript, if you are a student, and can be submitted to the Registration Team at TechEdEurope@delegate.com. Documents must be submitted prior to check-in at the event in Madrid. Failure to provide the required documentation will result in an increase to the onsite registration fee of €1,995. Full payment is required prior to entry to the event.
Academic Student Discount Policy: Discount is only available to current, full-time college or university students. A copy of a current academic identification along with a copy of a transcript showing current enrollment is required to retain the discount. Both unofficial and official copies of current transcripts will be accepted.
Academic Faculty & Staff Discount Policy: Discount is only available to current, full time K-12, college, or university employees. A copy of a current academic identification is required to retain the discount.
TechEd Europe has a Group Manager option to help you create, manage and submit payment for multiple registrations. To use this feature, create a Group Manager account first. All confirmed exhibitor and sponsor companies will receive special registration codes from the Sponsor and Exhibitor Management Team. These codes will be distributed after the company has been confirmed for their booth space. Please work with your internal contact responsible for your TechEd Europe 2013 booth space to obtain your registration code before you register.
Microsoft TechEd Europe 2013 has arranged special discounted rates and conditions at hotels with easy access and near to the IFEMA – Feria de Madrid Convention Centre in Madrid. To see a complete list of hotels and rates available, or to update a hotel reservation, you may do so directly through the Hotel Booking Service Site. All hotels in the TechEd Europe block include breakfast in their rate, which you may want to consider as breakfast will not be served at the convention center. To receive the special event room rate, all reservations must be made through this website. Hotels cannot book rooms within the group block directly through their reservation offices.

All visa applications must be lodged from your place of residence and application forms need to be requested from your local Spanish Embassy. Delegates requiring a visa to attend TechEd Europe 2013 are recommended to follow the process below:
To view a printable version of your invoice/receipt or last confirmation email for your Microsoft TechEd Europe 2013 registration, log into the Registration Returning Services site with your Microsoft account and select the option to view your invoice or confirmation from your Returning Services menu.
All individual and group cancellations must be requested online by going to Returning Services or by sending an email to TechEdEurope@delegate.com by the cancellation deadline. Cancellations received by 23:59 Central European Time on Friday, 31 May, 2013 will be charged an administration fee of €100.00 + 10% VAT for full paid conference passes and €100.00 + 10% VAT for Pre-Conference Seminar Only passes. Cancellations after this date, as well as 'no shows', will be liable for the FULL registration fee.
Should Microsoft cancel TechEd Europe 2013, paid registered delegates will be refunded their registration fee only. No other costs will be refunded.
Cancellations of travel and hotel reservations are the responsibility of the registrant.
Registered delegates must be present at the event to receive their conference materials.
The original delegate should not cancel the registration. Substitutions between delegates using the same payment may be made by:
Substitutions can be made at any time leading up to the event, including at onsite registration on Monday and Tuesday, 24-25 June, 2013. Substitutions after 25 June, 2013 will not be admitted to TechEd Europe 2013.
Once a substitution is submitted, there is no additional action needed if the payment method is the same for both individuals. If the payment method is changing, the new attendee must provide payment prior to issuing a refund to the original attendee. Refunds will be paid in full, less a €100 + 10% VAT administration fee for full paid conference passes and €100.00 + 10% VAT for Pre-Conference Seminar Only passes.
